Drachenstein is our location in Rüdesheim – surrounded by forest and characterized by quartzite soils.
The microclimate is slightly warmer, causing the grapes to ripen earlier and resulting in Pinot Noir with dark fruit, power and depth.
We deliberately harvest a little earlier to obtain healthy, balanced grapes, and work with the utmost restraint in the cellar.
