The Hollenberg vineyard is the heart of our estate – and one of the most important Pinot Noir sites in Germany. Steep red slate slopes with gradients of up to 45%, a southwest exposure, and intense sunshine create ideal conditions for powerful, complex wines.
We manage a total of eight plots, spread across the entire Hollenberg.
Almost everything here is done by hand – from pruning the vines to harvesting the grapes. The yield is low, the quality exceptional.
