Our work begins in the vineyard – where everything that can later be felt in the glass originates.
We work in harmony with nature, with patience, manual labor, and a keen eye for every detail. Old vines, vibrant soils, and the climate of Assmannshausen are our foundation – we shape them with sensitivity.

Estate wine

Our estate wines come from the heart of the Rheingau. An authentic, uncomplicated and characterful introduction to our world of wine.

Local wine

Our local wines reflect the special soil formations of their origin: the slate in Assmannshausen or the diverse rock structures in Rüdesheim.

single-vineyard wine

Our single-vineyard wines come from selected, small parcels within our individual vineyard sites. These wines showcase the terroir in its most intense form.

Manual labor accompanies us throughout the year: from gentle pruning in winter and shoot thinning in spring to leaf removal during flowering. This creates optimal conditions for healthy, loosely clustered grapes that receive sun and air and dry quickly after rain. In July, a light trim is performed to keep the vines balanced.

When harvest time arrives, we pick exclusively by hand – at the perfect moment to harvest only fully ripe grapes. We take care to ensure that the grapes remain undamaged and are placed in the crates as whole, beautiful bunches. This is the only way to preserve their natural freshness, aroma, and expressiveness.

Each grape tells a story of origin, each vineyard its own character.

Our task is to make this character visible in the wine – clear, calm and unadulterated.
