With heart in the vineyard – Karen from the Robert König winery

Anyone who has ever visited our winery has surely met her: Karen – a hostess with heart and soul, organizer of the wine tasting, a helping hand in the vineyard, and the smile behind the serving glass.

Born and raised in Denmark, Karen discovered her passion for good food, fine wine, and warm hospitality at an early age. After completing her training as a restaurant specialist with a special focus on wine, she moved to Germany in search of new experiences and authentic wine stories. There, she met Philipp – and he stayed. Since then, the two have not only been a team in their personal lives, but also run the winery together with great passion.

Karen has been an integral part of our winery for several years now. Whether preparing regional specialties, interacting with our guests, or assisting with the harvest, Karen brings a special warmth to everything she does. Her refined palate and knowledge of wine make her the perfect contact for our visitors—whether wine lovers or newcomers.

She loves creating unforgettable moments – with a good glass of Pinot Noir, a listening ear, and the kind of hospitality that lasts. For many guests, she's a familiar face who always welcomes them back to the farm.
