Philipp knew from an early age that he wanted to be a winemaker. Growing up among vines, barrels, and stories of past vintages, the path to the family business was almost a given – yet it is his own vision that is evident today. With great respect for the winery's long tradition, which dates back to 1704, Philipp brings a breath of fresh air and new ideas to the business.

Pinot Noir is and remains his favorite wine—deeply rooted in the König family and continually reinterpreted. Philipp isn't a loudmouth, but someone who prefers to convince with quality rather than big words. In the cellar, he works with precision, and in the vineyard, he has a feel for nature, rhythm, and maturity.
